Old Street Ventures is powered by a small but growing team of passionate individuals. Each of us has their own unique experiences and background but we've all had first hand experience with startups. We're now combining our skills to build something we love, helping democratise access to venture capital and hopefully having some fun along the way.
Calin
Founder & Manager
An enthusiastic problem solver with a unique skillset built on experiences in startups, venture capital, trading, risk management and finance. Calin started his career at Nomura in 2009, before focusing on commodities and FX trading at organisations like Trafigura and ASR Group. He previously helped set up a venture fund in Panama before making the switch to startups. Calin has held multiple leadership roles, overseeing legal, business development, compliance, finance and fundraising efforts at various points. In 2020 he co-founded the non-profit mealsforthenhs.org to support medical staff during the pandemic. Calin hold an MSc in Investment Management from Bayes Business School and has been a CFA Charterholder since 2016.
Natalie
Investor Relations
A passionate and adaptable professional with a proven track record in marketing, strategic partnerships and product management. She has successfully launched VC-backed start-ups, managed multi-million-pound campaigns, and developed impactful brand strategies. Natalie brings her unique perspective and drive for delivering results to connecting with investors to supercharge our growth.
Aries
Good Boy
Aries is the happiness officer at OSV, and as a working dog and part of a small team he helps out by making sure everyone is kept up to date with when he needs snacks as we get ready to launch our first fund.

Compliance Officer

Establish critical internal controls, ensure best practice when it comes to protecting our investors, and play a central role in ensuring we attain and maintain our FCA authorisation. This role provides an opportunity to define our internal processes and shape our company's culture from the very start.
